Michael Bonnell

I'm a project manager at DrFirst, based in Washington, D.C., where I work with hospitals and health systems to implement products that help providers improve the health of millions of patients.

Most of my career has been connected to healthcare in some way. I started on the sales side, working with healthcare executives to promote educational programs to employees at some of the largest health systems in the country. From there I moved to the workforce side, where I worked closely with health systems to build and implement internal training programs for their Allied Health professionals. I was responsible for managing our top 10 enterprise accounts, where I drove $4.15M in ARR. Today I help get technology into the hands of the people caring for patients. Regardless of the role, I've always enjoyed working with health systems toward the same goal: improving patient safety.

Outside of work, my wife and I are equal parts travelers and homebodies. Some weekends we're off to a nearby city we haven't seen, and others we're at a game in D.C. or home with our dog. I've also been deep into AI lately, learning what it can do and how to use it proactively in and out of work. A lot of that is figuring out new ways to bring it into my work as a project manager, where it helps me run projects more effectively and efficiently.
